Love and Science.
Over the years I have concluded that love follows the same principles of energy in the sense that it cannot be created or destroyed, but merely transferred and transformed. There is kinetic which is love in motion and potential which is stored. This was almost identical to the law of conservation of energy.
As I looked over similar literature, my beliefs were once more confirmed with the many applicable laws that Isaac Newton discovered.
First law
“A particle will stay at rest or continue at a constant velocity unless acted upon by an external unbalanced force.”
We remain dormant or in love until some outside force acts upon us. All it takes is one sudden move for everything to change. The energy or love in this case cannot disappear entirely although we may come to a screeching halt. That is precisely why we utilize safety belts—when we encounter a direct impact we are still bound to fall forward. At least with restraint, we can prevent ourselves from flying through the windshield. Of course, we can neglect to fasten ourselves properly. Sometimes we see certain relationships as short term destinations and find it unprofitable to take the time to harness ourselves securely. In my experience, I’ve come to learn better safe than sorry...
Second law
This law is generally stated as “F = ma: the net force on an object is equal to the mass of the object multiplied by its acceleration.”
Love is usually linked to rate and volume in which we fall. Love could only be measured by its magnitude and velocity. Sometimes love seems to blossom overnight while other times it takes years to develop. However, we could never calculate chance. We remained in the dark until it happened. That’s simply the way it was and will always be.
Third law
Whenever a particle A exerts a force on another particle B, B simultaneously exerts a force on A with the same magnitude in the opposite direction. The strong form of the law further postulates that these two forces act along the same line. This law is often simplified into the sentence “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.”
Our bodies can respond like magnets thus doing only what they know to do—cling to our polar opposites or repel from the ones that are too much like ourselves.
this is still a work in progress but I felt like sharing it in its developing stages.
soo that’s what kat von d looks like without tattoosss..
fuck, i love her work. i want to go to her show it NYC, it opens this saturday. ROAD TRIP (CHINA BUS)? any takers?
HOLYSHIT. (I never really say that, ever. So I’m pretty ecstatic about going to this). It’s at Jonathan LeVine Gallery, which will go all out for artists, so I’m stoked to see how her exhibit turns out. Anyone want to go? Do I dare go sell a liver and kidney right now, recover by sunday and then go and buy one of her pieces opening night?! If only…
